Spirit Healing: How to Make Your Life Work
The book, Spirit Healing: How to Make Your Life Work, 2006, is a composite of Dr.
Atwood’s first book, Spirit Healing: Native American Magic and Medicine,
1991 and Spirit Herbs, 1998, both published by Sterling, NY. It is an all
encompassing book that talks of healing the body, mind, and spirit and gives
specific Native American rituals, healing techniques and mystical communication with The Divine.
It is the result of years of research and communication with both Native Americans and Medicine men and women; and with her own spiritual path that begun with the ability to read the signs around her through observing nature, as has been done for centuries by those gifted with Medicine.
Unknown to many people, the atmosphere and vibrations around us are attracted to the particular energy that we each send out along with those of the possessions and objects that surround us. In addition, our words and thoughts carry energy along with our body. The desert, rivers, or mountains that surround us have their own very powerful molecules that vibrate in their energy fields. Previous inhabitants and homes that previously occupied the space that we live in now, may circulate in “our space” possibly contaminating our other positive environment. Birds, animals, and people that come in our space, may by their behavior, give us clues as to what they are attracted to. It is this unseen world and infinities that are typically not recognized but were were know to the American Indian along with other people that lived close to the earth.
For some reason, I am able, on occasion, to divine messages from signs around me and during one phase could see into the fourth dimension. What I have written in this book, is an attempt to share my knowledge to help others heal their mind/body/spirit.
Extrapolating knowledge from unseen dimensions into practical application is difficult especially in our concrete Western way of validating only what we can see. Plants and herbs have an infinity for certain substances and therefore some are better at healing particular conditions than others. Many of the current pharmacetical drugs have been derived from these natural vegetations. I offer numerous examples of how we can heal ourselves through dedicated effort.
